24x7 Help Desk

For organizations whose people wait days for help, where nobody answers after hours, or where calls go unanswered at the start of a busy season.

We run your IT help desk around the clock as the single point of contact for your people. Calls are answered by someone qualified at any hour, with tiered support and a ticketing system that fits your tools.

How we help

We run the desk around the clock, or through business hours with after-hours escalation, and the tiers of engineers behind it are the same either way.

24x7 service desk

The front door for your people around the clock: calls answered at any hour, tiered escalation to our engineers, your ticketing tool or ours.

What you get

  • Intake by phone, Teams, email, and a web form
  • Passwords, Microsoft 365, devices, and connectivity handled at first contact
  • A coverage floor for each hour, with surge staffing for busy seasons
  • Tier 2 and 3 engineers, vendor cases opened on your behalf
  • Tickets tracked in your ServiceNow if you own it, or a service desk tool we host
  • Monthly report: calls answered, first-contact resolution, survey results

Best for

Organizations that need the full desk at night and on weekends, not only an emergency number, or extra people when a semester starts.

Business-hours desk with after-hours escalation

A remote desk through the working day with web ticket submission, escalation to Tier 2 and 3, and emergencies by phone after hours.

What you get

  • Weekday coverage in your time zone
  • Web ticket submission into our service desk tool
  • Remote-control support for Microsoft 365, devices, and printers
  • After-hours escalation by phone for emergencies
  • A monthly ticket summary

Best for

Teams that need a desk through the working day and a number to call at night.

Questions we get

What does 24x7 mean in practice?

Someone qualified answers your calls at any hour, 365 days a year. The desk is staffed in shifts, with a coverage floor for each hour and more people on during your busiest hours. A help desk manager runs the team day to day.

Can you use our ticketing system?

Yes. We work in your ServiceNow if you already own it, and we can host a service desk tool for organizations that have none. Either way, incidents, requests, problems, and changes have a workflow, and the knowledge base lives where your people look.

What can the help desk fix at first contact?

Passwords and account unlocks, Microsoft 365 and Teams, supported PCs and printers, wireless, remote access, and MFA. Non-Microsoft applications are triaged and escalated to their owners, and personally owned devices get help with Wi-Fi and the client apps, not repairs.

How do you measure the desk?

First, that calls are answered: someone qualified is on at any hour and the coverage floor is staffed. Then first-contact resolution, the survey after each ticket closes, and response by priority. Where your agreement sets response targets we report against them monthly, and a response target is a commitment to respond, not to resolve.

What changes the size of a help desk agreement?

Mostly how many people you support and the hours you need covered. After that, which systems are in scope, whether you keep your own ticketing tool, and whether we work alone or alongside your team.

How do you take over from another provider?

The engagement opens with the Assess phase, which typically takes 3–4 weeks: your on-premises and cloud environment, current tickets, and tools. Then we set up the desk, the knowledge base, and the escalation paths before the switch date, fix the biggest risks first, and settle into steady state. From the switch date, your people have one number and one address.

Can we buy this on its own?

Yes. The help desk can be bought on its own or with the rest of Managed IT Services, and agreement terms are negotiable. The proposal sets the hours covered and the systems in scope.

Talk to us about 24x7 Help Desk

It starts with a 60-minute call. If we need more to scope it, a short questionnaire follows. Then a written proposal and statement of work. Once you approve, we begin with the Assess phase.
