For organizations where no product fits the way they work, and the workarounds have become the system.
We build the software no product fits, on Azure in .NET, Python, or JavaScript. We start with discovery and a backlog, set up the environments and pipelines, and deliver alongside your own developers.
Application discovery and backlog decides what to build, the Azure environments and pipelines give it a release path, and development alongside your team delivers it item by item.
Application discovery and backlog
Typically 2–3 weeks
The process and its systems understood, what exists today inventoried, and a backlog of small items, each deliverable on its own and tied to a milestone.
What you get
Process and integration map
Existing applications and workloads inventoried, with effort estimates
Backlog items with acceptance criteria
Build, buy, or Power Platform recommendation
Best for
No agreed list yet of what to build, or whether to build at all.
Azure environments and pipelines
Test and production environments with isolation and baseline security, build and deploy pipelines on GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps, and secrets in Key Vault.
What you get
Separate test and production, with your development setup left as it is
Code built and tested on merge, promoted by hand, approved for production
Passwords and keys stored only in Key Vault
Documentation and a knowledge-transfer session
Best for
A development team with an app and no release process.
Development alongside your team
Web applications built to your process in .NET, Python, or JavaScript, delivered as bounded backlog items through pull requests your team reviews.
What you get
Code structured so your team can maintain it, on Azure App Service with Entra ID sign-in
Automated and manual testing
Notifications, workflows, and integrations
UX and UI design where the application is for many people
Each change accepted only when its own tests and the existing tests pass
Architecture and pull request reviews on request
Best for
A packaged product that would cost more to customize than to build, or a development team with more backlog than it can deliver.
Discovery answers it. A product that fits most of the process beats building, and Power Platform fits forms, approvals, and reports. Custom code is for the process that is yours alone and has to scale or integrate deeply. We recommend the simplest path that works, and say when that is not us.
Which stack do you use?
.NET on Azure App Service with Entra ID sign-in and Key Vault for secrets is our default for business applications, with Python or JavaScript where the team or the problem calls for it. The architecture is documented so your team can own it.
Do you take over our application?
No. Architecture, release decisions, and the product roadmap stay with your product manager. We deliver bounded items through pull requests your team reviews, and documentation and knowledge transfer come with each milestone.
Who supports it after launch?
Your team, with the documentation, or Managed Azure and Microsoft 365 if you want the application hosted and run by us. Post-launch support is scoped on its own, not assumed.
Mostly how many features are in the first milestone, and whether we build the application or deliver alongside your team. Which systems it integrates with, and whether you run it afterwards, add to it.
Have you built software for clients?
Yes, on Azure for a credit union’s own application, and identity automation with Microsoft Identity Manager for a university.
Talk to us about Custom Software Development
It starts with a 60-minute call. If we need more to scope it, a short questionnaire follows. Then a written proposal and statement of work. Once you approve, we begin with the Assess phase.
